CSBP Soil and Plant Analysis Laboratory
Our CSBP soil and plant analysis laboratory is the largest of its kind in Australia and is recognised around the world as a leader in soil and plant testing. Here, in Western Australia, we’ve been helping farmers, graziers, foresters and horticulturalists with soil tests since 1971 and plant tests since 1975.
We also work with a wide range of public and private organisations, including CSIRO, SARDI, departments of agriculture and primary industry, and universities to deliver accurate and timely soil, plant and water results to researchers, agronomists and farmers across Australia. Our laboratory has independent accreditation from the Australasian Soil and Plant Analysis Council (
www.aspac-australasia.com) for a wide range of tests.
This is an analysis service only. As soils, climates and agricultural systems vary across Australia we are unable to provide any interpretation of these results.
Current Turn Around Times
At present for most tests, customers can expect their soil analysis results back about
five working days after the samples arrive at the laboratory.
Most plant analysis results are currently reported about
four working days after the samples arrive at the laboratory.
With the delayed harvest in many areas, we have had a very quiet December. But we expect to get very busy by the end of January and turn around times will increase significantly. To ensure you get your results back in time to finalise your fertiliser orders, please submit your soil samples as soon as possible.
