Environmental care
We are a
member of the Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association (PACIA) of Australia and are committed to participation in the Responsible Care program.
This program, part of a world-wide chemical industry program, aims to ensure chemicals are manufactured, stored, distributed and used in accordance with best practice standards, using the relevant regulatory standards as a minimum level of achievement.
The Responsible Care program comprises six codes of practice:
- Manufacturing process safety
- Storage and transportation safety
- Product stewardship
- Employee health and safety
- Community right to know
- Environment protection
Each code is audited internally on a regular basis and industry results are reported publicly by PACIA.
