Fertilisers
Through both our local manufacturing and our importing activities, we provide a wide range of products and services for use in broadacre cropping, livestock, horticulture and dairy operations.
Ammonium nitrate
We are a major supplier of ammonia nitrate into the Western Australian explosives market. We also have a 50 per cent interest in Queensland Nitrates, a joint venture with Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific.
Sodium cyanide
Sodium cyanide, a key ingredient used in gold extraction, is manufactured at our Kwinana complex and is sold throughout Australia and exported overseas by CSBP on behalf of Australian Gold Reagents (AGR), a joint venture between CSBP (75%) and Coogee Chemicals (25%).
Ammonia
We produce ammonia for use as a raw material to produce fertilisers, downstream chemicals (sodium cyanide, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate). It is also used by customers in large nickel refining operations in Western Australia.
Industrial chemicals
We are able to supply a range of bulk industrial chemicals to customers across Western Australia by leveraging off products we either use or produce in other operations on the Kwinana site. These products include Sulphuric Acid 98%, Fluorosilicic Acid and Urea.
PVC resin
Our subsidiary Australian Vinyls, located in Laverton, Victoria, is Australia’s leading manufacturer and supplier of poly vinyl chloride resin, and also produces wood plastic composites through its subsidiary ModWood.
